Noritake is the world famous tablewre brand which originally started the business in Nagoya in 1904. At Welcome Center, visitors can learn about the history of Noritake and the company's craft center through a video presentation on Noritake Garden shown here (approximately 10 minutes in length, narrated in Japanese). Maps of Noritake Garden and brochures on each facility are also available.
The Craft Center is a production factory that manufactures bone china. Visitors can get an up-close view of Noritake's craftsmanship and traditions throughout each process from production of bone china clay to decorations. In addition, the Noritake Museum located on the 3rd and 4th floor displays exquisite vases and decorative plates made in the Meiji era as well as Western tableware created from the Taisho to early Showa eras.
There is also a restaurant “Kiln", which lays a fine dining establishment offering French and Italian cuisine. Enjoy the dishes prepared meticulously from fresh ingredients by the chef served atop Noritake tableware.
