Experience Nagoya's traditional arts in oasis21!

Experience Nagoya's traditional arts!
Hands-on events surrounding the traditional art form of dyeing are held on the second and third Monday of every month in front of Oasis 21 iCenter.
Nagoya is home to a traditional dyeing industry with items made through Arimatsu-Narumi tie-dyeing, Nagoya black dyeing with white emblems, and Nagoya yuzen dyeing. The culture of dyeing kimono and other items took root in Nagoya long ago, and its various techniques continue on even today. Events allowing you to create hand towels through Arimatsu-Narumi tie-dyeing on the second Monday of the month and handkerchiefs through marble dyeing on the third Monday of the month are held to let people feel the joy of the dyeing arts. Be sure to try it at least once.
