Event information:
The poster child of impressionism, Claude Monet. The paintings he painted time and time again while gazing intently upon different scenes captivate those who view them even today. The creativity residing in Monet's art and admiration for going one step beyond merely creating something continue into the artists of today in a variety of forms.
It has been nearly 100 years since Monet began his masterpiece Water Lilies, which was painted in his last years. In addition to approximately 25 pieces from the beginning of Monet's artistic career until his final days, this exhibition showcases a collection of works from approximately 25 artists from later generations under one roof, and clearly portrays a link between both them and Monet which transcends time.
