Make it out to Nagoya TV Tower before its renovation!

Date: Until 1/6/2019

Event information:
Built in 1954, Nagoya's beloved landmark of Nagoya TV Tower has presently been standing for over 60 years. As of January 6, 2019, it will be temporarily closed due to earthquake resistant construction, reopening in July 2020.
Let us introduce to you two ways to have a great time at Nagoya TV Tower before its closing.

Going up using stairs in "sky walking"
Try out "sky walking"-walking up the observation staircase from the 25-meter-high Sky Terminal to the 90-meter-high Sky Deck for a limited time on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. Gaze out upon a scene of Nagoya as you climb the 245-step observation stairway. Going up is absolutely exhilarating as you can see Hisaya-Odori Park below between the steps. You can also get a good understanding of how the tower is structured. (An elevator is typically used to travel up and down.)

Held: Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays
Event time: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (Closes at 5:30 PM. Admission to Nagoya TV Tower until 5:00 PM.)
