Nagoya City Togokusan Fruits Park

Togokusan Fruit Park is a multipurpose agriculture park established in 1980 as a facility for relaxation with a lot of green and as a facility for outdoor education. It was built by utilizing the rich natural environment of the foot of the highest mountain in Nagoya, Togokusan (198.3 meters above sea level). The following facilities are available at the park: 15 orchards for 15 kinds of fruit including peaches, pears, and apples, "Orchard of the World" in which are planted fruits peculiar to the tropical regions including papayas and jackfruits, and a fruit house in which general knowledge of fruits and various kinds of fruits are introduced, a fishing corner, a Japanese garden, fields of flowers of the season, restaurants and shops. Weeping cherry trees are widely popular.
