Event information:
The lady's chambers of Edo Castle where Atsuhime and Kazunomiya resided at the end of the Edo era. The lady's chamber was the living quarters of the many women such as concubines and ladies-in-waiting who were involved in the lives of the shoguns and their first wives. Here, day-to-day schedules and annual events adhering to strict customs were carried out, heightening the pinnacle of sophistication.
The splendid lifestyles in the lady's chambers on par with those of Atsuhime and Kazunomiya have been recreated, allowing you to go back in time to view the both of their tumultuous lives as they watched the fall of the Tokugawa shogunate first-hand.
