Event information:
A large-scale retrospective exhibition of Finnish architect Alvar Aalto (1898-1976).

This is the first comprehensive exhibition in Japan in 20 years of Alvar Aalto's work.

Using materials such as lumber and brick to create things used in people's lives and workplaces, Aalto designed not only buildings, but everything from door handles to furniture, light fixtures, glass containers, and other pieces. See approximately 300 of these warm works in this exhibition.
