The original Shachi Monaka main store

This is a long-established confectionery shop with a long history, famous for its "Original Shachi Monaka," which is based on the "Golden Shachihoko" of Nagoya Castle.

Original Shachi Monaka Honten was founded in 1907, and since creating the "Original Shachi Monaka" in 1921, they have been making "fun to look at and delicious to eat" shachihoko sweets inspired by the golden shachihoko, the symbol of Nagoya, with great care for over 100 years.

In addition to the popular shachihoko-shaped sweets that are perfect as souvenirs from Nagoya, they also manufacture and sell Japanese sweets, Western sweets, and seasonal sweets.
