In commemoration of samurai warriors
The Battle of Okehazama took place in Okehazama, Nagoya City between powerful generals Oda Nobunaga and Imagawa Yoshimoto during Japan's ancient Warring States period (circa 1467–1590). This event is a memorial for those who fell during the historic battle and lights some 3,500 lanterns around O Pond in their memory.
