“เทบะซากิ” อาหารเลื่องชื่อของนาโกย่าที่ได้รับความนิยมแพร่หลายไปทั่วประเทศ เป็นกับแกล้มเหล้าที่ “อร่อย ถูก รวดเร็ว” ชาวนาโกย่านิยมนำวัตถุดิบมาดัดแปลงให้เกิดประโยชน์ จึงนำปีกไก่ซึ่งสมัยก่อนไม่มีใครเหลียวแลมาปรุงอาหาร เทบะซากิแตกต่างจากไก่คาราอาเกะเพราะไม่ชุบแป้งทอด แต่ปรุงโดยหมักปีกไก่ให้มีรสชาติเล็กน้อย แล้วนำไปทอด และปรุงรสด้วยซอสรสเค็มหวาน โรยพริกไทยและงา เนื้อไก่กรอบนอกนุ่มใน
