Discover the art of sushi-making with a local twist in the nostalgic streets near Nagoya Station. This hands-on culinary experience is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to prepare delicious, authentic sushi in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Begin your journey with a guided walk to a traditional local supermarket, where you’ll pick up fresh ingredients such as tuna, shrimp, cucumber, crab sticks, and egg—essentials for making beautiful and flavorful sushi.

Back at a cozy retro café run by a long-standing tea shop, you’ll dive into sushi-making with expert instruction.
You’ll create three types of sushi:

Temari sushi (small, round bite-sized sushi that looks like edible jewels)
Maki sushi (traditional rolled sushi, fun to slice and share)
Temaki sushi (hand-rolled cones of seaweed filled with rice and toppings, perfect for casual gatherings)
These styles were chosen because they’re not only iconic in Japan but also fun and easy to recreate at home for parties, picnics, or elegant dinners.

Finally, sit down to enjoy your handmade creations with a warm bowl of traditional clear soup—bringing your cultural immersion to a satisfying close.
