Nagoya City, in collaboration with Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd. through a public-private partnership, will operate the Aichi-Nagoya Open Top Bus during the period of the 20th Asian Games and the 5th Asian Para Games, with the aim of promoting nighttime tourism.
As this is a limited-time service available only during the Asian Games period, we invite you to take this special opportunity to ride the bus and discover a new side of Nagoya’s charm.

What is Open Top Bus?
An open top bus is a double-decker bus without a roof, offering a dynamic viewing experience from a height of approximately 3 meters above the ground.
During the day, you can take in sweeping views of the city bathed in bright sunlight, while at night, you can enjoy beautifully illuminated scenery. This unique journey allows you to experience Nagoya’s changing charm throughout the day, making for a truly memorable way to explore the city！

Course details
Departing from and returning to Meieki Parklet, this tour takes you around Nagoya’s major attractions.
Different routes are offered for daytime and evening services, allowing you to enjoy the city’s unique charm at each time of day.
The daytime route passes through central Nagoya, including Oasis 21 and Osu, with the option to disembark at Nagoya Castle.
On the evening route, in addition to an exhilarating drive along the urban expressway (between Kogane and Higashishinmachi), you can enjoy close-up views of illuminated landmarks such as the Aichi Prefectural Government Building, Nagoya City Hall, Nagoya Castle, and the cityscape around Nagoya Station.

Please note that even in rainy weather, seating will remain on the open-top upper deck, and the lower deck is not available. For safety reasons, the use of umbrellas is strictly prohibited. |
