Special Exhibition “Lithuania—Songs Echoing Through the Baltic Forests—” / Special Exhibition “Nagoya Has Hideyoshi, You Know!—Hideyoshi and the History of Owari—”
To commemorate the pre-opening, two special exhibitions will be held simultaneously. One introduces the history and culture of the Republic of Lithuania, where Chiune Sugihara—a diplomat raised in Nagoya—issued “visas for life” to Jewish refugees. The other traces the life of Toyotomi Hideyoshi while exploring his ties to his hometown of Owari and Nagoya. Both exhibitions can be viewed with a single admission ticket. Ahead of the grand opening in 2028, this is a limited-time opportunity to visit the museum while it is open. Don’t miss it!
