Caravaggio--master Italian artist who breathed new air into the world of art 400 years ago with his astonishing artistic ability and innovative ideas.

This exhibition is a miraculous chance in Nagoya to see approximately 10 pieces by Caravaggio (including pieces attributed to Caravaggio) and approximately 30 pieces by artists following him during the same period in one go. It is the third Caravaggio exhibition in Japan, its first time back to the Tokai region in 18 years, and the first time to be held in Nagoya.

The treasure of the Borghese Gallery in Rome, David with the Head of Goliath, is shown in Nagoya only for a limited time.

Come and see with your own eyes the true allure and incredible impact of this Italian virtuoso as soon as you can.
