Taste soybean miso and tamari soy sauce. You can see displays of ancient brewing implements for soybean miso and tamari soy sauce, and hear an explanation of how the brewing process has changed from the Meiji period up to the present day. At the tamari extraction vat, you can see a demonstration of the machinery and try your hand at using it yourself, and also see demonstrations of barrels and buckets being repaired. The miso-tamari factory tour includes an explanation of the brewing process using a wooden bucket, a method that hasn't changed since olden times. See More

Aichi Prefectural Ceramics Museum
Surrounded by greenery on a hillside next to the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park, the Nagoya Prefectural Ceramics Museum is one of the most prominent ceramics museums in the world. Exhibits are held in the main building, south building, and west building. At the ceramics craft studio, even beginners can try their hand at making ceramics, and at Tea House Tosui-an, you can participate in a tea ceremony using tea bowls made by local artists.
