You can see displays of ancient brewing implements for soybean miso and tamari soy sauce, and hear an explanation of how the brewing process has changed from the Meiji period up to the present day.
At the tamari extraction vat, you can see a demonstration of the machinery and try your hand at using it yourself, and also see demonstrations of barrels and buckets being repaired.
The miso-tamari factory tour includes an explanation of the brewing process using a wooden bucket, a method that hasn't changed since olden times.
