With the motto, “The most special feeling in Nagoya—the kind that lets your shoulders relax,” we serve delicious food at prices that welcome many guests, never positioning ourselves as a luxury restaurant.
In 2019, our original Imaike location was featured in the Michelin Guide Tokai.
Our yakitori, grilled with our house-made salt created by slowly reducing kombu and bonito dashi over many hours, is especially popular, along with creative skewers such as herb-grilled lamb and quail topped with anchovy.
In addition, our seasonal à la carte dishes, started by our founder—who trained in French cuisine—with the desire to “keep customers from ever getting bored,” have become one of Kinboshi’s charms over the past 30-plus years.
We recommend enjoying one or two of these dishes in between bites of yakitori.
A 2-minute walk: go one block east from Exit 4 of Fushimi Subway Station, then 20 meters south.
Conveniently located with easy access from central Nagoya areas such as Sakae and Nagoya Station.
At the L-shaped counter, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of yakitori being grilled right before you. Table seating is available for parties from 2 up to 16 guests.
