Nagoya Yakitori Kinboshi Fujigaoka Branch
A yakitori restaurant featured in the Michelin Guide, in business for 34 years
(2-minute walk from Fujigaoka Subway Station)
With the motto, “The most special feeling in Nagoya—the kind that lets you truly relax,” we serve delicious food at prices that welcome many guests, never positioning ourselves as a luxury restaurant.
In 2019, our founding Imaike location was featured in the Michelin Guide Tokai.
In addition to yakitori grilled with our house-made salt, created by slowly reducing kombu and bonito dashi over many hours, our creative skewers are also popular, including herb-grilled lamb and quail topped with anchovy.
Seasonal à la carte dishes, started by our founder, who came from a French culinary background, with the desire “to keep customers from ever getting bored,” have also become part of Kinboshi’s appeal over the past 30-plus years.
We recommend enjoying one or two of these dishes in between the yakitori.
Located on the second floor of a building along a row of cherry blossom trees, we offer 10 counter seats as well as table seating for parties ranging from 2 to 20 guests.
We are conveniently accessible not only from Meito Ward in Nagoya, but also from Nagakute, home to Ghibli Park, as well as Seto and Nisshin, and are enjoyed by a wide range of guests, from after-work diners to groups of friends and families.
“The same spirit, the same taste.” We look forward to welcoming you at our three locations in Nagoya.
