Going through a tunnel, you find yourself in lavishly colorful worlds such as that of the Japanese fairy tale zone of Urashima Taro's visit to the dragon's underwater palace, a zone where you proceed through a sunken ship, a tropical ocean zone with tons of rays swimming all around, a zone in which you can touch inhabitants of the sea, and more. Megrass Garden Nagoya
Megrass Garden Nagoya is a garden facility located along the coast in Minato Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. The grounds consist of six beautiful zones with a pleasant, layered design, where a “relay of flowers” unfolds throughout the year. In the special space “Secret Garden,” open only in spring, visitors can enjoy an immersive experience surrounded by flowers and appreciate the garden as if viewing art... Along with proposing this new kind of value, we hope to bring many moving experiences to all who visit through the power of plants. A “garden,” where plants live, is a place of constant change—eternally unfinished. From the fresh first year after its renewal opening to the second and third years beyond, we aim to create a next-generation garden that “continues to evolve,” so that its character deepens ever more richly each time the seasons turn. Nagakute Battlefield Memorial Museum
In Tensho 12 (1584), a “decisive battle that would determine the fate of the nation” took place in Nagakute. It was the Battle of Nagakute, fought between the forces of Hashiba Hideyoshi (later Toyotomi Hideyoshi), who would later become the ruler of the realm, and Tokugawa Ieyasu. The Nagakute Battlefield Memorial Museum stands adjacent to the Nagakute Ancient Battlefield, a nationally designated historic site that was the main battleground. Through digital content and historical materials that convey the sense of distance between the battle-related sites and the immediacy of the battlefield, visitors can experience the stage of history firsthand. One of the highlights of our museum is a restored reproduction of the Folding Screen Depicting the Battle of Nagakute (one six-panel screen) (original in the collection of the Tokugawa Art Museum, Tokugawa Reimeikai Foundation). This re… See More

Kiyosu Castle
In the 12th year of the Ōei era (1405) during the Muromachi period, Spwa Yoshi Shige, who held the position of shugo (military governor) of Owari Province, is said to have built the origins of Kiyosu Castle as a separate enclosure to the shugo's residence located in Shimotsu Castle (Inazawa City). In the first year of the Kōji era (1555), Oda Nobunaga entered Kiyosu Castle from Nakanogano Castle and achieved victory in the Battle of Okehazama in the third year of the Eiroku era (1560). This marked the castle as the starting point for his quest to unify the country. During the early Edo period, the castle town's population reached 60,000 to 70,000 people, earning it the title of "a major castle town in the Kantō region." Kiyosu Castle was also praised as one of the "great castles of the nation." The present-day Kiyosu Castle Tenshukaku (main keep) was built in the first year of the Heise… See More
