The Nagoya Sword Museum “Nagoya Touken World” will hold a special summer exhibition “Learning Japanese Swords for the First Time” from 2025/7/12 (Sat) to 8/31 (Sun). It is a special exhibition that children who are new to the world of swords can enjoy, such as explanations for children by the curator and a stamp rally where they can receive gifts.

Worksheets for children will be distributed free of charge to coincide with this exhibition. It explains Japanese swords in an easy-to-understand manner, and the content allows you to enjoy designing your own sword patterns and swords, making it perfect for free research during summer vacation. Also, during the period, gallery talks for children will be held every week by curators. This is an event where children can deepen their interest in Japanese swords by listening to the curator's story while using worksheets. Other than that, if you collect stamps from all over the building, they will also sell events where you can get limited-edition can badges, and “Narikiri Warlord Caps” that parents and children can make and play with!

This summer, visit the Nagoya Sword Museum “Nagoya Touken World” with your parents and enjoy learning about Japanese swords!
