Matsumoto Leiji has created numerous masterpieces, starting with “Galaxy Express 999,” which is his masterpiece. Many of these works have transcended generations and borders and are still loved by many people today.
This exhibition deciphers the techniques and abilities of Matsumoto Leiji as an artist who continued to express his unique worldview in the two fields of manga and animation through over 300 original drawings, including early works, and valuable memorabilia, and the messages he entrusted to the future through over 70 years of creative activities.
