Invitation to Picture Postcards #File.1 “Time Slip 1910” around the Meiji 43 Nagoya 300th Anniversary Festival
In Meiji 43 (1910), Nagoya reached the 300th anniversary of its founding,
A grand commemorative event was held.
Starting with the memorial festival on 4/12, the 10th Kansai Prefecture Union Co-Promotion Meeting will be held at Tsuruma Park.
Also, 9 floats were pulled out at the Toshogu Festival on 4/17.
Furthermore, there is a memorial costume parade in June.
Here is an introduction to the bustling situation this year from the approximately 10,000 picture postcards in the museum's collection.
This is the first special exhibition introducing a selection of 10,000 picture postcards from the Meiji and Taisho periods in the museum's collection.
