Aichi International Women's Film Festival 2026
The Aichi International Women’s Film Festival is Japan’s only international women’s film festival, featuring works by female directors from countries and regions around the world, as well as films focusing on women.
Through the accessible medium of film, the festival aims to deepen understanding of women’s advancement and awareness of gender equality.
Now in its 31st edition, this year’s festival is packed with highlights, including collaborative programs with the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Taiwan International Film Festival, as well as a special feature on renowned Korean female director Yim Soon-rye!
