Tour Guide-Interpreter Dispatch Program
To enhance overseas visitors’ experience of the sights, culture and industry of Nagoya, we dispatch tour guide-interpreters certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to accompany excursions and sightseeing tours associated with conferences.
Eligible Tours for this service
- Tours that are organized by organizers of international conferences held in Nagoya
- Tours that are intended mainly for sightseeing and inspection of culture and industry in Nagoya City and its suburbs
- Tours using chartered buses
- At least ten foreign participants per chartered bus
Conditions of use
- ApplicantOrganizers of international conferences
- Number of dispatched tour guide-interpretersUp to three tour guide-interpreters (one person per chartered bus) are dispatched for each tour associated with an international conference.
- CostExpenses for tour guide-interpreters other than their daily wages must be borne by the applicant.
- ReportAfter the tour, the applicant needs to submit a tour guide-interpreter usage report.
