The tiles and stone walls of the exterior bring to mind the image of a castle. The base color for the interior is red, and the space feels very modern-Japanese, with a stone slab counter that gives it an air of luxury. We pride ourselves on our steaks of best-quality A5 Matsusaka Japanese Black wagyu beef, which you can only get at Steakhouse Tokugawa.

  • Meals are prepared on a grill right before your eyes, with nothing in between. Enjoy the mellow aroma and comforting sound of high-quality beef grilling.
  • Only about 7,000 head of cattle a year get to be shipped as Matsusaka beef. We also only serve A5-grade beef, including the rare chateaubriand cut.
  • Enjoy to the bottom of your heart the sure abilities of the chef and carefully selected ingredients that can only be experienced at a bona fide member of the Matsusaka Beef Association.

A course that can only be experienced at Tokugawa, through which you get to savor all 15 of our restaurant's original flavors as one-bite steaks of A5-grade Matsusaka Japanese Black beef.

A classic steak course that lets you enjoy the rich meaty flavor of A5-grade Matsusaka Japanese Black beef. You can also choose the rare chateaubriand cut.

Filet Mignon Dote-ni

Highest-quality A5-grade filet mignon is used to make a lavish dote-ni, a local dish typically made with entrails boiled in soybean miso. Filet Mignon Dote-ni is sold for 15,120 yen (tax included).
Packages can also be sent by refrigerated delivery throughout Japan.
