The Me~guru Nagoya Sightseeing Route Bus is a special and convenient bus that makes a tour of popular tourist spots in Nagoya. If you purchase a special One-Day Pass, you may ride just the Me~guru Bus an unlimited number of times for one day, as well as receiving discounts and other benefits at tourist facilities.

1 「Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology」Stop

An interactive museum established by the Toyota Group. The museum is housed in a red-brick factory from the Taisho Period (1912 to 1926) that remains at the birthplace of the Toyota Group. The museum features many textile machines and Toyota's very first passenger car. You could "see", "surprise", "learn" through the dynamic exhibitions and diverse demonstrations, and enjoy with the entire family.

2 「Noritake Garden」Stop

Visit the Craft Center to learn about ceramics-making processes and draw yout own design on pottery, view Old Notirake products and design sketches on display at the museum, and enjoy shopping at multiple stores, all on verdant green grounds. When you have a spare moment, we also recomend taking a break at the cafe or restaurant, where you'll be served with Noritake tableware.

4 「Nagoya Castle」Stop

Built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, this castle is a symbol of the city and hailed as "the caste makes what Owari-Nagoya makes what she is". Highlights of the castle are its castle tower crowned with golden shachihoko (killer whale) statues, the gorgeous Hommaru Palace and the elegant beauty of gardens throughout four seasons.While many buildings in the castle were burnt down during the Second World War, restoration work of the Palace was completed and opened to the public in 2018.

6 「Tokugawaen, The Tokugawa Art Museum, Hosa Library」Stop

The Tokugawa Art Museum has permanent exhibits of thetools used by the Owari Tokugawa feudal lords, with a focuson the belongings of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Over 10,000 items arehoused in the museum, including nine National Treasures, suchas the Tale of Genji picture scrolls, and 59 registered ImportantCultural Properties, which are exhibited on a rotating basis.The Hosa Library is centered around the Owari Tokugawaclan's former collection of books, housing and displayingapproximately 110,000 of Japan and China's old masterworks.

6 「Tokugawaen, The Tokugawa Art Museum, Hosa Library」Stop

A Japanese garden with walkways winding around a central pond symbolizing the ocean. The waterfall and steams utilize the differences in elevation to create an enjoyable, dynamic landscape. The park was once a residence of the old samurai manor can still be seen in the black gate at the en-trance. Mid- to late April is the best time to view peonies; June for Japanese iries, and late November for autumn leaves.

6 「Tokugawaen, The Tokugawa Art Museum, Hosa Library」Stop

This museum features the world's largest gold coin, the "Tensho Omodaka Oban".The production of this gold coin was ordered by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and only 3 of the coins currently exist in the world. The museum collection also features silver coins stamped with the figure of Cleopatra and 10,000 rare coins and bank notes from around the world. This extensive collection is regarded as one of Japan's finest. The museum also exhibits "The 53 Stations of the Tokai Highway" and other ukiyo-eprints of Hiroshige Utagawa.

7 「Cultural Path Futaba Museum」Stop

The residence of Sadayakko Kawakami, "Japan's first actress," and Momosuke Fukuzawa, "the king of electric power." This Taisho-era manor built in a semi-European style was called Futaba Palace, and the restored grounds are quite resplendent. In addition to the displays of Sadayakko's personal effects and literary materials, the stained glass windows in the main hall are a must-see!
