Beer Garden Miami Nagoya Sakae Branch
Born in 1963, the rooftop beer garden “Miami” has been loved in Nagoya for many years. It is now located on the rooftop of Nagoya Mitsukoshi Sakae Store, where it continues to evolve while carrying on its tradition. Known as the quintessential Nagoya beer garden, it remains a favorite with many guests this year as well.
The reasons for its popularity are the freely customizable “MY STYLE” experience and its dazzling stage events. From arranging salads and tacos to your liking to griddle dishes cooked right at your table, the ways to enjoy it are endless. What’s more, every night the venue comes alive with songs and dances by the exclusive idol unit “Mai-chan Ami-chan,” creating an exciting sense of unity throughout the crowd. (Mai-chan Ami-chan is the name of the unit, and its members change every year.)

In the lively setting of the market, the experience of “seeing, choosing, grilling, and tasting” engages all five senses, like a food-themed amusement park. Blending the nostalgic retro Showa-era market atmosphere with Reiwa-era comforts such as the popular tornado dispenser and a retractable roof, this is a one-of-a-kind beer garden experience you can only enjoy here.
What’s more, the much-talked-about tornado dispenser—available only at Asahi Breweries headquarters and Yanagibashi Central Market Beer Garden—serves a special glass of subzero Extra Cold beer poured in a swirling motion from the bottom of the glass. The ice-cold beer pairs perfectly with seafood BBQ delivered fresh from the market.
