Wakashachiya, Nishiki Location

That familiar, smooth and savory sensation
Wakashachiya has been making its signature dish—Famous Curry Udon—since establishment. Bouncy and chewy, super thick udon noodles in a heavy and spicy curry soup are simply undeniable. Each bowl is meticulously prepared upon order.
Seafood broth and chicken stock soup receive a secret curry powder to create a curry roux with richness, sweetness, and spiciness all in one sip. The super thick udon noodles are specially made so as not to lose to the thickness of the curry roux.
You can also enjoy other Nagoya Meshi items like miso nikomi udon, or udon noodles in a miso stew; miso katsu don, deep-fried pork cutlet with a miso sauce on a bed of rice; temmusu rice balls with shrimp tempura; and tebasaki. Lunch and dinner are available with the restaurant open until 3:00 am, making for the perfect spot to fill up after a night of drinking.

Gomitori has your Nagoya Meshi needs covered with a myriad of meals including tebasaki, cooking with Hatcho Miso, and dishes using Nagoya Cochin chicken. Look no further for a more fantastic spot to hit up during your travels, to entertain guests from afar, or for a couple drinks with friends.
The establishment is three stations away from Meijo Koen Station, outside of Sakae Station with a mere 1-minute walk from Exits 2 and 3. It's even close to—just a 5-minute walk from—the bustling Sakae area's major hotels as well as landmarks like Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER and Oasis21, letting you get a little shopping or sightseeing done before getting a bite to eat. Gomitori is open until 5:00 am the following day on any day other than Sunday or national holidays, so after any event, the door's always open.
