Nagoya City Science Museum Special Exhibition “Insect MANIAC”
Insects are the largest group of organisms, accounting for approximately 1 million species, which is more than half of the species reported on Earth. There are countless insects that have not yet been seen in the world, and future new species and discoveries are dormant even in familiar environments. In this exhibition, researchers at the National Museum of Nature and Science interweave geeky insect specimens selected by researchers, and the latest insect research, and approach the surprising diversity of not only familiar insects, but also “bugs,” including spiders and centipedes.
