Nagoya Station area
JR Central Towers/JR Gate Tower Christmas
One of Nagoya's largest Christmas trees
A Christmas tree of large proportions—one of the biggest in the greater Nagoya area—makes an appearance at JR Gate Tower.
The theme for 2025 is "Towers 25th Anniversary: 25 Doors of Christmas", creating a dazzling display with Santa's mysterious doors. Plus, the 25th door makes for a gorgeous scene as it leads the way to the future during a showtime incorporating the tree and its key items of doors and keys as well as the huge Linear Gate Vision digital signage display.

• Time: 7:00 am–11:00 pm (Show times occur every hour on the hour, 20 min. after, and 40 min after for approx. 4 min. after 5:00 pm and continue until 10:40 pm. Illumination begins at 5:00 pm on Wed, Nov 12 with the Opening Ceremony.)

Dai Nagoya Christmas Light Display
A magical Harry Potter Christmas
A collaborative Christmas event with Harry Potter comes to the Tokai region for the first time this year with next year marking the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone's release. Delve into the world of Harry Potter at the Sky Garden with an approximately four-meter-high Christmas tree and giant Christmas wreaths modeled after the four dorms of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry—a fantastic photo op. Be a part of the Harry Potter world all over Sky Garden.

Nagoya Lucent Tower's Winter Light Display
A production of wondrous color
Illuminated trees and dome lighting color Nagoya Lucent Tower's vicinity in dynamic colors. Periodic light shows too are a must-see spectacle.

Nagoya Noritake Garden Blooming Christmas by Noritake Garden and AEON Mall
Giant chimney monuments turning into giant Christmas trees
Poinsettias blossom even in the cold winter as ornaments on trees and wreathes around the park with the hope of Letting Warmth and Consideration Bloom. The vibrant red poinsettias paint the entire area in wondrous colors as the chimney monuments change into giant Christmas trees, lighting up after sundown for a whole new atmosphere different than that of the daytime.

Meieki Light Display 2025
An annual event shining lights all around Nagoya Station
Meieki-dori Street along JR Central Towers, Midland Square, JP Tower Nagoya, Dai Nagoya Building, and other major spots turn on magical lights all at once, steeping the cityscape in a surreal scene. People flock from all over just to see the special winter event with trees, aurora-like light displays, Christmas concerts, and spots perfect for a snapshot. This year, the Nana-chan Mannequin offers a special performance in addition to events only available during this limited time. Take a stroll through the radiant winter Nagoya.

Midland Light Display 2025
Dazzling Champagne gold illumination
The warm, gorgeous glow of Champagne gold lights shines over the area outside Nagoya Station, welcoming visitors as they go to and from the station.
The spectacle incorporates CO2-free lighting and decorates with some of the ornaments made from parts of thrown-out LAN cables in an eco-friendly display.

• Directions: Located in the area around the JR, Meitetsu, and Kintetsu Nagoya Stations. Directly connected via five entrances to Midland Square, in turn available from underground Sun Road.
KITTE Nagoya Music of Aurolights
A performance of dazzling colors
This year's KITTE Nagoya Christmas theme is "A Christmas Coloring the World with Music". While invisible to the eye, music is played against a visibly vibrant aurora of dazzling lights all around you. The musical and aurora light display—Music of Aurolights—takes place from the KITTE Nagoya building's atrium on the first floor to the second in a dynamic, approximately 25-meter-high spectacle. Some 20-thousand LED lights shine in a true Christmas miracle.

Chunichi Building Christmas 2025
Unique snowmen make an entrance
A Christmas tree and unique snowmen make an appearance at the event space on the first floor of Chunichi Building. These charming snowmen come together to create an atmosphere of excitement, fun, and warmth. Plus, the seventh floor rooftop plaza offers a stunning panorama of the Sakae cityscape steeped in Champagne gold lights. Snap some special shots of the Christmas tree and "SAKAE 2025" monument.

Toyoda Gosei Rink at Oasis21
Nagoya's iceless skate rink
This iceless skating rink rings in its 17th season as an extraordinary and expansive semi-outdoor activity spot.
After the sun goes down, sparkling light displays make for the perfect date or photo op.

Minami Otsu-dori and Minami Ise-cho-dori Streets' Sakae-Minami/Osu Winter Light Display
Vivid lights shining throughout a shopping street
Sakae-Minami and Osu's renowned winter light display is a staple event of Nagoya City's Naka Ward, lighting the area in a uniform Champagne gold with some three million LED lights. This year also offers a smartphone stamp treasure hunt. Walk along the brilliant and dazzling streets for an unforgettable experience.

Ikeda Park's 24th Ikeda Park Light Display
A shining bouquet flowering in the night sky
The Sakae-Higashi area (the greater Sakae area's 4 and 5 chome sections) is home to Ikeda Park, which this year too, is enveloped in brilliant beams of light. Enjoy a warm, comforting moment of dazzling lights right in the heart of the downtown Sakae-Higashi area. Light display events and a photo contest are available among the allure, and welcome you together with the shining lights.

Kanayama area
ASUNAL KANAYAMA's Winter Light Display 2025
Come on light party!
ASUNAL KANAYAMA holds its winter light display yet again this year!
This year features a lit-up display of Shaun the Sheep as it celebrates its characters' 30th anniversary. 2025 also makes for a double anniversary as ASUNAL KANAYAMA turns 20, making for a lively atmosphere around the complex. Sparkling mirror balls and spot lights are just some of the main decorations which come to life with brilliant lights shining a palette of colors once the clock strikes a certain time.
Join the colorful party with Shaun and the gang this winter!

Port of Nagoya Garden Pier's BERITA Presents Isogai Fireworks Theater in the Port of Nagoya

LEGOLAND® Japan's A Merry Christmas at LEGOLAND®
Heartwarming hands-on fun with the whole family
LEGOLAND® Japan aims to become Japan's premier kids' resort, and for the Christmas season, offers guests raved-about special hands-on shows and limited-time menu items during its A Merry Christmas at LEGOLAND® event.
The Sounds of Light display for kids creates a mysterious space where child-like fun uses elven magic to show a variety of radiant lights. Step around and make noises to change the lights' colors in something like a performance between light and sound by all.

Hoshigaoka Terrace Winter Light Display
Botanical Town: Kaze no Oka
We live on Earth with so many different ecosystems as we borrow their bounty. However, mankind's lifestyles take preference and pollute the global environment, which has led to a departure from a spirit of coexistence with plants, animals, and insects as our neighbors. But maybe we can live a life of more consideration.
At Kaze no Oka—or the Windy Hill—you can see where the Wind Masters, or birds and insects, live as they reside together with plant life, providing their botanical brethren aid. Behold the beauty of this Windy Hill with plant life and animals coming together in a radiant light display.

Nabana no Sato's Zipangu Light Display
One of the largest illumination events in Japan
This event is one of Japan's largest-scale illuminations, cocooning all who come in an almost unimaginable amount sparkling lights. The theme for this year is Zipangu. An international pinnacle of quality and breathtaking scale offer continuous scenes more grand than you can imagine. All who come and see the expansive theme area are sure to go home speechless upon seeing all its colorful and expressive glory.

Lagunasia Carnival of Light and Water Light Display
A fantasy of light and water sprawling across an oceanside town
Three illuminated domes connected by sparkling tunnels put on a dazzling oceanic display this year with a magical "Marine Fantasia" available for the first time. Marine drones, light shows, and fireworks displays as well as a Christmas market make for a winter you'll not soon forget
