Nitten Nagoya Exhibition 2026
Japan's oldest comprehensive art exhibition. A festival of “beauty.” In 1907 (Meiji 40), the Ministry of Education's 1st art exhibition “Bunsho” began. Also, the Nagoya touring exhibition started at Matsuzakaya in 1951 (Showa 26), the year the first private CBC radio station opened. Approximately 500 works from the five genres of Japanese painting, Western painting, sculpture, craft arts, and calligraphy, and in addition to selected works that go around the country, including works by Cultural Medal recipients and members of the Japan Art Academy, as well as high-level works by local artists that have gone through strict screening, will be exhibited. Furthermore, use the gallery “J Room” in the same building to “Fly! Collaborated with the “CBC Children's Art Exhibition” as “Children to the Future”. All of the more than 2,300 submitted works entitled “Let's Draw My Favorite Creature” will be exhibited. At the “Japan Exhibition” of history and tradition, you can touch the art of a new era across generations and experience the power of art!
