POP IS YOU SAKAE26
The Nagoya–Sakae area is home not only to department stores and historic shopping streets, but also to a concentration of cultural facilities, each of which has contributed to enhancing the area's appeal through its own initiatives. In June of this year, THE LANDMARK NAGOYA SAKAE opened as a new symbol of the district, bringing with it the commercial area HAERA and the long-awaited large-scale cinema complex in Sakae. The area is now experiencing tremendous excitement and growth.
To further energize the Sakae area, the entertainment-focused promotional event POP IS YOU SAKAE26 will once again be held. This year, the scale of the event has expanded significantly, with participating organizations increasing from 6 to 20 and the number of programs growing from 14 to 20. In addition, four new inter-facility collaboration and visitor-circulation projects will be introduced.
